Total elevation gain for 63 mile Skyline ride?

Hey Folks! Can anyone pls. let me know what total elevation gain they got for the 63 mile -out & back to Panaroma today? My Garmin eTrex Venture HC uploaded to Motion Based says 8,584 feet. My new Blackburn Delphi 6.0 says 6,611 feet. Plotting the route on TOPO from Delorme says 9,578 feet..... Anyone with Garmin Edge who did this loop? Thanks!! Daniel Wilcox Potomac

63 mile Skyline ride

I only rode to the top of Mt. Marshall and back. My Garmin Edge 705 showed 4,505 ft climbed.

Using the Motion-based

Using the Motion-based figures from mile 0-30 and back (I went to Skyland) I get 6,825 missing the last 2.5 miles to Panorama. My Edge 305 recorded 8978 from the parking lot at the end of Luray Ave to Skyland and back--86.2 miles. Motion-based upgraded that to 9,806. No idea what is "right."
